LPS Bond Proposal Overview (May 2027)
We are actively preparing for a No Mill Increase Bond on the May 2027 ballot. This proposal allows LPS to address vital facility needs without increasing current tax rates for local property owners. A bond proposal is how a public school district asks its community for authorization to borrow money to pay for capital improvements (construction, additions, remodeling, technology, and other capital needs). Funds cannot be used for operational expenses (salaries, benefits, supplies, textbooks) and must be audited by independent auditing firms.

High Priority Renovations: Locker Rooms, Plumbing (Bathrooms), Classroom Cabinets and Sinks
Small School, BIG Opportunities! Thank you for supporting Lawrence Public Schools.
