Friends of the Lawrence Library sponsored the community concert performed by "The Barley Saints" tonight in the Lawrence High School Auditorium. A lively and fun event enjoyed by many!

Lawrence is special for its traditions. This week the annual Lawrence Elementary 6th grade Vs. Staff volleyball game took place. While our 6th grade students were a tough opponent, staff prevailed victorious! #tigernation #26yearwinningstreak









Don't forget...LES Literacy Night presents "Camp Reads-a-Lot" from 5:30-7pm in the LES gym/cafeteria!


On Thursday, March 16th, the District Improvement Team met to review the winter survey results. The team found the following trends and areas to focus attention and strive for improvement:
~Increase participation on school surveys
~Update and improve the format of surveys to remove unclear areas and offer more frequent opportunities to provide timely feedback
~Improve collaboration time with staff
~Focus on teacher retention
~Improve student, peer-to-peer relationships
~Provide more non-sport opportunities/seek out adult volunteers to implement these new programs/offerings


Our students did a pretty good job at wearing green last Friday. For those who may have forgotten, we made sure they could be a part of the fun at breakfast and lunch. Take a look : )
